Armed Robbers Attack Katsina Mall, Stole Money, Valuables

A group of armed robbers attacked a popular shopping mall in Kwado area of Katsina metropolis carting away sales and other valuables.

The robbers stormed the area where the shopping mall, Dadin Kowa, is situated at about 9pm Monday shooting sporadically into the air before entering the mall and robbing it.

Speaking when he received the state governor on a sympathy visit, the shop owner, Nafi’u Sani, said it was a sorrowful experience. He showed the governor bullet holes on the walls of the mall.

He said, most of those at the shop during the attack were shocked and laid flat on the floor while others ran for safety.

In his remarks, Governor Aminu Masari prayed to God against a repeat of such ugly incident and the replacement of what was lost.
