Police arrest 3 with human head

The police in Adamawa State have confirmed the arrest of three persons at Tashan-Baba village in Jada Local Government Area for exhuming and beheading the corpse of a seven-year old girl.


Spokesman of the Command, S.P Othman Abubakar, said the three suspects were arrested with the fresh human head of Blessing Johnson, a day after she was buried.


Abubakar added that the three suspects identified as Yunusa Audi, Dauda Babale and Muka’ilu Ishaya confessed to the crime, adding that they were contracted to get fresh human head by one John Bakari of Karlahi village in Fufore Local Government.


They told investigators that their sponsor promised to pay N5m for the head.


Abubakar said the principal suspect Bakari had escaped but police were making effort to arrest him while the three suspects will be charged to court today.
