A Nation with Equal Rights and Opportunities - Adamu Garba, Nigeria's 2019 Young Presidential Aspirant

Ours is to build a country where the north doesn’t dominate the south or the east doesn’t dominate the west or vise versa. Ours is to build a nation where no any group is dominant but ALL OF US, where there is no minority or majority but ALL OF US.

A democracy where each one of us have equal rights and opportunities as much as anyone of us. Ours is to build a nation where Quality supersedes Quantity, Reason prevails over Sentiments and Competency thrives above Interest. A Nation where religion is completely separated from politics. A Nation where every citizen is free to dream, pursue and achieve happiness according to his/her wishes. A Nation where convictions does not form bases for prejudice.

Ours is a nation where the young respect the old and the old value the young. A nation, where your privacy as an individual is respected and regarded your ultimate freedom. A Nation where human lives remain sacred in all cases. We are ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION with ONE MISSION. Our mission is to build a civilization capable illuminating peace and prosperity to the whole world. We are ONE PEOPLE, we are NIGERIANS. We can only get it right when we remain ONE PEOPLE. 

That is why, our government, if elected, will do the following:

1. Discontinue the principle of Federal Character and appoint people only on the bases of their competency and capacity to deliver desired result not on bases of their origin.

2. Deinstitutionalize religion and ensure its continue the tradition as cultural private affair not influencing political decisions and divisions.

3. We will, if elected, remove all religious houses from Aso Rock Villa and ensure religion of the presidents is not issue of national discourse.

4. As president if elected, I will ensure to never appear publicly in any gathering or groupings that have religious coloration or with any particular religious leader.
5. In our foreign alliances, we will ensure TRADE and only TRADE form bases of our negotiations and not the easts or the wests or Israel or Palestine.

The journey to our national reawakening is in progress. We all have a role to play. With ALL OF US, we still have a dream.
