The state Amirul Hajj, Justice Idris Haroon disclosed this Tuesday’s night when the last batch of pilgrims from the state arrived in Ilorin, the state capital.

He said  the suspects had not been executed but “are still under investigation of the Saudi Arabia authority”.
The last batch comprising 509 Pilgrims  arrived from the holy land after the completion of Hajj rites.
All the pilgrims including aged women and men arrived with their luggage.
He  described this year’s Hajj  operation as very successful.
The Amirul Hajj attributed  the success recorded  to the support that the pilgrims board received from the state government.
He said  kwara  was the first state to return it’s pilgrims from the holy land without any disappointment from the carrier.
It could be recalled that 1, 944 Pilgrims performed this year’s Hajj from Kwara out of which three among the first batch were arrested for alleged involvement in cocaine trafficking.
